Here's the big picture.
What we do. We are a team of Senior Care Advisors offering guidance, management, and advocacy through the transition into senior care. That transition may be within one's home, or may be from home to a senior care community. Most commonly we work with families and their seniors who are transitioning into Independent Living, Assisted Living, Nursing Care, or Memory Care Communities. Many of our senior clients are living with Alzheimer's Disease, or another form of dementia. We work with people who are planning ahead, as well as people who are in crisis and need to make a change immediately. Frequently, it is the senior's caregivers who contacts us. The caregivers are usually adult children concerned about their parent, or a spouse or sibling concerned about their loved one.
Who we are. We are an independent, family-owned company. Unlike other national referral agencies, we are not financially compensated by care providers that we refer you to. That means you can trust that our guidance is based solely on your needs and goals. Speaking of which, our evaluation process of your needs and goals is thorough, which ensures that our guidance is meaningful, comprehensive, and accurate. We sit down, face-to-face with you. We connect with your physicians, attorney, financial planner, caregivers, and family members. Our services are not "off-the-shelf," but instead are tailored to your specific case. We offer you much more than referrals to care providers. We offer you our independent expertise; our experience as advocates; and our strategy in senior care planning.
We've got a mission.
Whether you are staying in your home, or transitioning into a care community, we guide you from unsafe or unsupported to safe and supported by identifying and establishing the long term care solutions that will ensure your medical and financial wellbeing, as well as social quality of life. We evaluate your needs and goals, empower you with personalized advice and tailored information, and guide you with expertise and smart strategy to the best care choices possible for you or your loved ones.
We're proud of our stats.
Our primary service region includes Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts; however we've also worked remotely for families throughout the United States. Since our launch in 2008, we have worked with more than 450 families and individuals. For every single one of those clients we have successfully evaluated and developed a transition plan into senior care. Along the way we have tracked a 100% satisfaction rate in client surveys.
Why are you called Beach Glass Transitions?
Beach Glass is something that is more beautiful with age. The more journeyed and tumbled a piece of glass is, the more special and valuable it is. This is true of our clients as well.
